Using Miggy

What is Miggy?

Miggy is a migraine tracker built to be used during an attack, not just after one. It stays dark, stays quiet, and asks as little of you as possible. Log your pain level, symptoms, and medication in a few taps, then put your phone down.

Why is Miggy always dark?

Light and brightness changes can make an attack worse. Miggy uses a dark interface throughout, with no white screens and no brightness jumps, so opening the app during an attack does not cost you anything.

How fast is logging an attack?

A few taps. Pain level, symptoms, and medication are the core of an entry. Your frequent medicines, common symptoms, and own pain words sit ready, so logging gets faster the more you use it.

Can I edit or backfill an entry later?

Yes. You can edit anything you missed and backfill entries from earlier. The record should be accurate, not just what you managed to tap at the time.

Is there a Home Screen widget?

Yes. A Home Screen widget keeps the current attack one tap away while it is happening, so you can update it without digging through the app.

Which devices does Miggy support?

Miggy is iPhone-first and built to work offline. An attack does not wait for a signal, so neither does the app.

Privacy & data

Do I need an account?

No. Miggy does not require an account. You can start logging straight away without signing up or handing over an email to use the app.

Where is my migraine data stored?

Your migraine logs are stored locally on your device. The health data you record stays on-device and is not transmitted to us. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

What happens to the email I give the waitlist?

The waitlist is handled through a Tally form. We use the email you submit only to contact you about beta access, not for newsletters. You can ask us to remove it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

Beta

How do I join the beta?

Join the waitlist and we will reach out when your platform opens up. Beta spots are limited, so places are offered in batches rather than all at once.

Does Miggy cost anything during the beta?

The beta is free to take part in. Pricing for the full release has not been finalised. Beta testers will hear about any plans before anything changes.

What features are coming next?

Trigger tracking and gentle notifications are next, followed by emergency contact alerts, voice logging, doctor export, and a monthly summary. See the What’s new page for what has already shipped.
